Topcon engineers equipped the GR-5 receiver with the new Paradigm G3 chip. This chip is a true breakthrough and represents the world's first multi-system processor to use Universal Tracking Channel technology. It is 75% smaller than previous models, but at the same time far superior to them in terms of performance, efficiency and economy.

The GNSS receiver offers the highest data refresh rate. The user can choose a refresh rate of up to 100 Hz, which allows you to use this tool in the most difficult conditions. When operating in kinematic mode, high data collection frequency is extremely important to collect information from a car or in navigation mode.

The Topcon GR-5 receiver can be equipped with any communication tool used in its predecessor, the GR-3 model. You can choose any of the UHF, internal GSM / GPRS / EDGE modem or combined UHF / Cell modem - modems. Thanks to such wide possibilities, the GR-5 shows the highest real-time performance (RTK), providing high accuracy up to 10 mm and 15 mm in plan. In addition, Topcon GR-5 receiver can work in VRS, FKP and IMAX networks.

The lightweight and robust housing provides reliable protection against dust and moisture according to IP66. The unusual shape of the receiver allows you to apply it to the walls without fear that it will come back and fall off. Full performance is maintained even when dropped from a height of two meters onto a concrete surface. Lithium-ion batteries provide up to 16 hours of operation, and the ability to switch batteries to "hot" does not allow you to interrupt the shooting process.

Measurement data are recorded on removable SD or SDHC memory cards located under the batteries. The receiver supports cards up to 32 gigabytes, which allows you to store large amounts of data.
